Skewers of duck magret with apricot


Magret is a form of preparation of the duck filleted and fried together with a marinade.

The word comes from "magre" which means skinny in the Occitania province in south-west of France. This means in effect a lean breast of duck or goose. The duck being himself leaner than chicken. The term "Maigret" can also be used. The original recipe is with green pepper, without specific vegetable accompaniment.

Ingredients

  • Duck breast: 100g
  • Apricot: 50g
  • Honey: 5g
  • Oil: 2g
  • Balsamic vinegar: 2g
  • Salt:

Ustensiles

    Oven.
    Skewer.

Preparation


    Mix oil, vinegar, honey.
    Cut the duck into cubes.
    Cut the apricots into pieces.
    Make kabobs by inserting breast and apricot.
    Drizzle with sauce.
    Bake, turning occasionally.

Serve


    Warm.
