Air and water in food provides satiety!

A very simple way has been revealed by a study in order to maintain a diet: the addition of air in food, it provides a lasting feeling of satiety!

This study was presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Geneva, by researchers at the Unilever group. By offering to two groups, one ordinary milkshakes and the other foods that have even added a half of water and gas, the latter felt satisfied unlike the first. And this feeling of satiety remains one to two hours.

The carbonated water do not, because the nature of the gas they contain is not convenient. The gas must remain in the food until it reaches the stomach.

It remains to look for foods that can be so modified and add them at dessert in any menu!
